Omission Beer, the first craft beer brand in the United States focused exclusively on brewing great-tasting gluten-free beers made from traditional beer ingredients, recently launched Omission Pale Ale and Omission Lager nationwide. Originally launched earlier this year by the Oregon-based Craft Brew Alliance, Omission Beer has become a leading supplier of brew to the gluten-intolerant and is now sold through a number of major retailers as well as top restaurants and bars. “Omission beers are a reflection of the creativity and determination of our brewers to create flavorful craft beers that everyone of age can enjoy,” said Terry Michaelson, CEO of CBA. “We’re happy to announce that Omission beers are [now] available nationwide…and look forward to sharing these great-tasting beers with those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to enjoy craft beer brewed with malted barley.” Omission removes gluten from beer using a unique process developed by the brewery. Gluten levels in every batch of Omission beer are measured by the brewery as well as by an independent lab.
